Human Resources Unit

The Human Resources Unit is responsible for all related to faculty members and staff, including work commencement, leave management, contracting, termination, renewal of residency for employees, exit and re-entry visas, and other related issues.

Mission: To implement policies and systems that support creativity and achievement by delivering high-quality administrative services that meet the needs of college employees and contribute to the college’s mission.

The general objective: The unit is responsible for matters related to faculty members and staff, including the commencement of work, leaves and vacations, contracting and termination, renewal of employees’ residencies, exit and re-entry visas, and other related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the procedural and legal rules for faculty members and their equivalents and administrators.
  • Following up on the completion of procedures for new and current employees, including faculty members and their equivalents, and administrators to work in the college.
  • Follow up and monitor attendance and departure according to the approved mechanisms, and apply the regulations governing this.
  • Following up and implementing procedures for processing financial entitlements for faculty members and their equivalents and administrators, to ensure the accuracy of their input into the system.
  • Following up on completing and updating medical insurance procedures for faculty members, the like, and administrators.
  • Preserving, archiving and updating files on the affairs of faculty members and their equivalents and administrators.
  • Completing employee clearance procedures.

Authorities:

  1. Prepare reports related to faculty members and administrative staff affairs.
  2. Follow up on the preparation of performance evaluation reports within the college and take necessary actions.
  3. Perform any other tasks assigned to the unit within its scope of responsibilities.
