The unit aims to provide special services to the university student in all matters related to his academic affairs, in addition to caring for college graduates, strengthening their relationships with the college, supporting, guiding and directing them to achieve excellence and success in their careers. It coordinates between the labor market and the college to inform them of the students’ abilities and specializations in order to take advantage of their scientific potential to attract them to the labor market.

Mission

Providing an attractive and stimulating educational environment for student energies that is concerned with strengthening effective communication channels with its graduates through guidance, development and continuous support to achieve the college’s mission and goals.

Tasks

  • Providing college departments with all the information they need about the academic status of students as per available records and information and preparing a report thereon.
  • Implementing semester procedures (postponement + deferment + withdrawal + discontinuation + academic opportunities) and ensuring that they are uploaded and a copy of them is kept in the students’ files.
  • Activating the email for all new students.
  • Issuing identification cards for students’ academic cases.
  • Seeking to familiarize college students with the available academic programs as well as the study system and regulations.
  • Creating and updating a database of college graduates.
  • Creating a database for governmental and private agencies targeted to employ graduates.
  • Preparing reports related to the following:
  1. Statistics of graduates who were employed with a college graduation certificate and those who were employed with a pre-college certificate.
  2. Reports measuring employers’ satisfaction with the performance of college graduates.
  3. Statistics of graduates’ satisfaction.
  4. Statistics of graduates who were employed in a field other than their specialty, whether in the public or private sector.
  5. Statistics of graduates who took the tests of the Commission for Health Specialties and other accreditation bodies, and statistics of those who passed the test successfully.
  6. Statistics of students who completed their postgraduate studies in the same specialty.
  • Preparing mechanisms that enhance closer communication with graduates and relevant institutions.
  • Proposing mechanisms that would contribute to preparing graduates for the labor market.
  • Organizing a career day to achieve enhance communication between graduates and community institutions.
  • Establishing and managing the College Alumni Association.
  • Participating or implementing various recruitment activities and concluding the necessary relevant agreements.
