The Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit is concerned with spreading the culture of quality and academic accreditation among the college’s employees. It is also concerned with implementing the quality assurance system, providing development mechanisms, and following up on improvement plans in all practices at the college in accordance with the standards of the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation.

Tasks
- Preparing the annual work plan for the quality unit and supervising its implementation.
- Ensuring that the quality assurance and management system is effective and linked to the college’s administration including all its activities and units.
- Updating the mechanism of the central system for collecting, documenting, analyzing and managing data, preparing the required reports, and automating and documenting all activities of the academic and administrative departments, councils, units and committees at the college.
- Developing the college’s performance and the performance of its academic and administrative units by benefiting from the results of benchmark comparisons according to the specific key performance indicators that measure the results of its achievement by the college’s quality and academic accreditation unit.
- Supervising the implementation of the college’s quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure the quality of teaching and learning and continuously reviewing, evaluating, and improving academic programs and courses.
- Applying systems and procedures to monitor and evaluate the extent to which targeted learning outcomes are achieved in academic programs.
- Follow up on the preparation of consistency matrices of graduate characteristics at the level of the college’s academic programs.
- Implementing systems and procedures to monitor and evaluate the extent to which the characteristics of the college’s graduates are achieved according to the measurement of the targeted learning outcomes in the academic programs.
- Reviewing all manuals, regulations and policies and updating them on an ongoing basis.
- Spreading a culture of quality and training employees on quality assurance procedures.
- Following up on fulfilling academic accreditation requirements in accordance with the standards of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.
- Preparing the college’s self-evaluation in accordance with the standards of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.
- Preparing questionnaires to measure the satisfaction of students, honors students, graduates, faculty members, administrators, and employers regarding graduates and beneficiaries regarding the quality of all services provided by the college, supervising their distribution, calculating average results at the college level according to the results received from the departments, and discussing the results and proposed improvement plans with the college council.
