Al-Ghad International College for Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh marked the International Day for Tolerance in both the male and female sections on Sunday, 16 November 2025, as part of its commitment to promoting a culture of tolerance and strengthening the values of respect, coexistence, and acceptance among students. The event was implemented through joint cooperation between the Extracurricular Activities Unit, the Intellectual Awareness Committee, and the Nazaha Club.
An awareness corner was set up that included educational materials, brochures, and motivational posters encouraging respect for others and the rejection of intolerance, in addition to short visual clips about tolerance that were displayed on the college screens. The Intellectual Awareness Committee also contributed by creating a “Tolerance Wall” where students wrote messages and expressions about tolerance, which added a positive and engaging atmosphere to the event.
The Nazaha Club presented an awareness corner on the role of tolerance in protecting individuals from negative behaviors. The activity highlighted positive behavioral models that support a safe and fair educational environment. The event witnessed strong participation from students and staff, who actively engaged in the available activities and shared their positive reflections as part of the “Your Tolerance Makes a Difference” initiative.
Furthermore, awareness content was circulated via staff email to reinforce the message the college seeks to uphold in building an educational environment grounded in respect, tolerance, acceptance, and positive dialogue among all members of the college community.
